TOP PERFORMERS

Goodman finished 2-for-4 with his 29th home run of the year and added a double that hit off the top of the wall. The University of Memphis product is slugging .692 in the month of August and has eight hits and six RBIs over his last four contests.

Eddy Diaz swiped his 30th base of the season and added a pair of base hits. The 22-year-old Cuban has nine hits over his last four games and is batting .344 in August.

Braiden Ward, Ronaiker Palma, and Mateo Gil all recorded two hits in the loss.

AROUND THE NORTHWEST LEAGUE

Chad Patrick tossed six strong innings as the Hops (50-61) defeated the Emeralds (67-43) in Hillsboro.

Everett's (51-61) 6-7-8 hitters combined for 12 RBIs in the Frogs 14-4 win over Vancouver (58-51).
