Game Summary: Ryan Noda hit two home runs, including a go-ahead solo homer in the seventh inning, in the Oklahoma City Dodgers’ 4-3 win against the Round Rock Express Friday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Round Rock (36-34) built a 2-0 lead through three innings on solo home runs by Sam Huff and Elier Hernandez in the second and third innings respectively. The Dodgers (44-26) trimmed the lead to one run in the fourth inning scoring a run on an errant pickoff attempt and went on to score runs in four straight innings. Noda tied the game at 2-2 with his first homer of the game — a solo shot in the fifth inning. Both teams exchanged runs in the sixth inning with Round Rock taking the lead by scoring a run on a wild pitch and Andy Burns answering with a RBI single. Then with the game in a 3-3 tie, Noda hit a solo homer in the seventh inning to give the Dodgers a 4-3 advantage on the way to taking a 3-1 series lead.

Before Thursday, Noda last homered June 5 in Round Rock and now has 10 home runs this season — tied for third among OKC players.

The Dodgers have now won seven of their last nine games, nine of the last 12 games and 13 of the last 17 games. They have also won eight of their last 10 home games.
