Voices of the Lansing Lugnuts

Adam Jaksa and Jesse Goldberg-Strassler

 

A native of Eaton Rapids, Mich., Adam first worked for the Lugnuts on production crew in 2012, graduated from Central Michigan University, and now serves as the Voice of Chippewas football and men's basketball. This is his second season in the Lugnuts' booth.

 

Hailing from Greenbelt, Md., Jesse is in his 12th season with the Lugnuts following stops at Radio 11 WBAL, independent Brockton Rox, Double-A Montgomery Biscuits and independent Windy City ThunderBolts. Jesse produces and hosts a weekly Blue Jays broadcasters podcast, "Around the Nest," serves as the voice of Central Michigan University women's basketball, and is the author of two books, "The Baseball Thesaurus" and "The Football Thesaurus." In 2013, he was named Midwest League Broadcaster of the Year. In 2019, he was named Ballpark Digest's Minor League Baseball Broadcaster of the Year.
