S**ummary**
The Harrisburg Senators finally showed signs of offensive life, but it wasn’t enough in a 6-5 loss to Binghamton Friday night at Mirabito Stadium in Binghamton. The Senators were down 6-0 into the eighth inning when they sent ten batters to the plate and scored five runs to make the score 6-5 Binghamton. Harrisburg couldn’t get the hit to tie the game or take the lead and Binghamton held on in the ninth for the win. The Senators have dropped all four games in the series and five straight overall.
The Big Play
With the score 6-4 in the eighth inning with the bases loaded and one out, Lucius Fox nailed a pitch and hit it over 100 mph into the alley in right center field, but Rhylan Thomas tracked it down allowing just one run to score instead of a bases clearing extra base hit.
Filibusters
The Senators went 2-for-10 with runners in scoring position… They sent ten batters to the plate in their five-run eighth inning… The five-run inning was more run than they’d scored in the past four games total.
On the Docket
The Senators and Binghamton Rumble Ponies play game five of their six-game series Saturday at 6:07 p.m.
