The RoughRiders will host the 20th Anniversary Weekend celebration from Friday, September 1st to Sunday, September 3rd! Come out the Riders Field as we transform the ballpark back to 2003 with throwback themes, giveaways, former player appearances and more.
On Friday, September 1st, get here early for a Josh Jung and Chris Young combination bobblehead giveaway presented by Whataburger.
On Saturday, September 2nd, it's a 20th Anniversary Poster giveaway. Plus, Riders alumni Derek Holland, Chris Davis, Tanner Scheppers and Ian Kinsler will be on-hand to join the celebrations with a pregame autograph session beginning at 6 p.m. All gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
On Sunday, September 3rd, the Riders will give away a 20th Anniversary Dream Team Card Set.

C Jose Treviño (2017-2018)
Treviño was called up from Frisco to Arlington in 2018 and played parts of four seasons with Texas. After being traded to the Yankees, he won the American League Platinum Glove (best defender at any position) and was named an American League All-Star in 2022.
1B Chris Davis (2007-2008)
A two-time American League home run champ with Baltimore in 2013 and 2015 (53 and 47, respectively). He finished his 13-year career with 295 home runs and a 106 OPS+.
SS Guilder Rodriguez (2009-2015)
Rodriguez is the RoughRiders career leader in games played (527), hits (465), runs (236), walks (206) and steals (82) over his seven seasons in Frisco. He debuted with the Rangers in 2014, playing in seven games and going 2-for-14.
3B Joey Gallo (2014-2015)
A two-time All-Star and two-time Gold Glover, Gallo has already hit nearly 200 home runs in the first nine years of his MLB career. In his first seven seasons with the Rangers, he had a 116 OPS+.
OF Nomar Mazara (2014-2015)
A former top prospect when he was with Frisco, Mazara went onto his 20 home runs in each of his first three seasons and 85 in his seven-year career in Major League Baseball.
LHP Derek Holland (2008)
Holland was a key part of the 2010 and 2011 Rangers and led MLB in shutouts in 2011 with four. Over his 346 career games, he went 82-83 with a 4.62 ERA, pitching eight years with the Rangers.
RHP Matt Bush (2016, 2019)
Bush was dominant out of the Rangers' bullpen in 2016, going 7-2 with a 2.48 ERA and is pitching in his sixth year in MLB during 2023 with the Milwaukee Brewers.
Manager Steve Buechele (2010-2013)
Buechele is the all-time winningest manager in RoughRiders history with 301 wins and a .538 winning percentage. A Texas Rangers player as well, Buechele spent eight of his 11 MLB seasons in Arlington.
1B Mitch Moreland (2009)
Moreland was the starting first baseman on the 2011 American League Championship team for the Rangers and won a Gold Glove with Texas in 2016. He was named a 2018 AL All-Star with the Rex Sox, winning a World Series that same year.
2B Ian Kinsler (2004)
Kinsler was a four-time AL All-Star and two-time Gold Glover with eight of his 14 years coming with the Rangers. He won a World Series with Boston in 2018 and has the highest career WAR (54.1) of any former Riders player.
SS Elvis Andrus (2008)
Andrus has made two AL All-Star teams with Texas and collected over 1,700 hits in his 12 years with the Rangers while ranking first in career steals (305) and second in games played (1,652) in Texas franchise history.
OF Craig Gentry (2008-2009)
Gentry played 10 MLB seasons, spending five years in Texas. Over those seasons, he was dominant in the outfield, recording a 3.9 dWAR in just 322 games.
OF Bubba Thompson (2021)
Thompson was a fan-favorite player in 2021, earning Double-A Central Postseason All-Star honors in Frisco. He debuted with Texas in 2022 and has played in both of the last two seasons with the Rangers.
LHP Martin Perez (2009-2011)
Perez made his first All-Star team in 2022 with the Rangers. Perez is in his 12th MLB season in 2023 and his ninth with Texas.
RHP Tanner Scheppers (2010-2011)
Scheppers had an amazing season with the Rangers in 2013, going 6-2 with a 1.88 ERA from the bullpen. In his six-year career with Texas, he pitched in 180 games.
