If a game is scheduled to be played on a rainy day, the decision of whether or not to play will be made at game time by the umpires and both teams. Our Grounds Crew does an amazing job of making sure the field is in the best possible condition for baseball regardless of weather and we will make every attempt possible to play the game. In the event of a Rain Out or Rain Delay, information will be posted on the home page of this website, on our Twitter page (@CLBClippers), or on the Columbus Clippers Facebook page. Umbrellas are allowed in the ballpark as long as they do not interfere with the lines of sight for other fans.

Fans who purchased tickets to a postponed game can exchange their tickets for any future 2024 Clippers regular season home game. Tickets purchased from a resale site should consult that site’s rain policy.

Phone or Online Ticket Purchases

To exchange your tickets, please email [email protected] with your selected date or call the Clippers Ticket Office at 614-462-2757 with questions, Monday-Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM. New tickets will be for a ticket of equal or lesser value, subject to availability.

To ensure we receive your email in time, please email requests at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the new game you want to receive.

In your email, please include:

  • Name used when placing order
  • Email used when placing order
  • Phone number in case we need to contact you
  • New game you wish to attend (tickets will be assigned in as close proximity to original seats as possible)
  • How you would like to receive the new tickets. There are three options:

1. Via text message if you have a smartphone. Please provide the best cell phone number to text the tickets to.

2. Will Call pickup on the day of the new game.

3. Mail. If time permits, new tickets can be mailed to you. Please provide the best address to send them to.

Walk-Up Ticket Purchases

If you purchased tickets via walk-up at the Box Office, you can exchange your ticket in person at the Huntington Park Box Office for a ticket of equal or lesser value, subject to availability.

New tickets will be as close to your original seats as possible. The same seat location cannot be guaranteed.

Rain tickets can be exchanged for new tickets to any remaining 2024 Clippers home game and do not have to be used for the make-up date. If you elect to attend the make-up date, new tickets will be needed.


Rain Delay: A Rain Delay is when the game is officially delayed. Play will continue later that day. Tickets cannot be exchanged in the event of a rain delay.

Rain Out: A Rain Out is when a game is postponed due to rain. When this happens, the game is usually rescheduled into a double header the next time the two teams meet. In the event of a Rain Out, your game ticket is exchangeable for a ticket of equal or lesser value, subject to availability, to any regular season Clippers game during the current season. Your ticket will need to be exchanged for a ticket to your chosen regular season Clippers game this season, either in advance (recommended) or on the day of the game. Tickets may be exchanged at our Business Office during normal office hours, at any ticket windows during a game at Huntington Park, or at the Advance Ticket Cart during all home games. There will be no refunds issued.
