Salt Lake City, UT – It was a memorable afternoon for Isotopes manager Pedro Lopez. Albuquerque defeated Salt Lake 7-1 in the series finale, giving Lopez his 1,000th managerial victory in 19 seasons across five different Minor League clubs.

The Isotopes avoided a six-game sweep at the hands of the Bees, and also snapped a seven-game losing streak. Albuquerque plated all seven of their runs in the first three frames, while starting pitcher Ben Braymer worked five effective innings of one-run ball.

Topes Scope: - Albuquerque held their opponent to a season-low one run for the third time this season (May 20 vs. Tacoma and May 26 vs. Round Rock).

- Braymer became the fifth Isotopes pitcher to work at least five innings and allow one or fewer run, having most recently occurred when Ty Blach spun five scoreless on May 18 vs. Tacoma.

- Yonathan Daza turned in his 12th multi-hit game, and the eighth in his last 11 contests. He is slashing .400/.426/.450 with three doubles, a triple, a homer and eight RBI during the stretch.

- Jimmy Herron was 3-for-5, marking the fourth time he has recorded three or more knocks in a game this year. He also registered his second outfield assist of the campaign.

- Cole Tucker finished 3-for-3 with two walks (including one to force in a run), his first three-hit contest since June 16, 2022 for Reno vs. Oklahoma City.

- Aaron Schunk produced his 16th multi-hit contest of the season. He is slashing .394/.426/.691 with 11 doubles, a triple, five long balls and 22 RBI in his last 25 games.

- Despite 13 hits for Albuquerque, just one was for extra bases (their second-fewest in a contest).

- Tommy Doyle struck out the side to finish the game, his first time recording three punchouts since June 13, 2021 for Double-A Hartford. He has a 1.56 ERA (3 ER/17.1 IP) with 17 strikeouts in 12 appearances for Albuquerque this season.

- Albuquerque compiled nine hits against Bees starter John Swanda for the second time in this series, it also tied for the third-most knocks surrendered by an opposing hurler in 2023.

- Salt Lake drew just two walks, the eighth time this season Isotopes pitching has issued two or fewer free passes.

- The teams combined for five double plays, with Albuquerque turning two and Salt Lake rolling up a trio. It tied for the most turned by both clubs in a game this season (May 6 vs. Sugar Land).
